What is SEO ?

Search engine optimisation, also known as SEO is the art and science of making a website attractive to search engines.

The better a site is optimised, the higher position it has in the search results. This is of a significant importance as most people look only through the first page of the search results. In order for your site to have more visitors you have to appear in that first page of results.

SEO consists of every page having the right meta tags, as well as distributing keywords and phrases in a way that search engines will like.

Search engines look for and categorise pages with a special spider software. Unfortunately this software works differently for every search engine so the content and tags have to be optimised in a way that will balance the rank with different search engines as Yahoo and Google. SEO not done right can lead to a good results with Google, but bad with Yahoo for example.

One of the most important things with SEO and one of our highest priorities is to keep track with the changes in indexing algorythms so the websites we work on can always be optimised in the best way. We also follow the rules search engines have set to avoid negative impact.

When we develop your webpage we will make it in a way compatible for SEO as there is no point in having a good design if there is no good foundation for optimisation. It never too late or impossible to change the site or some of it's parts later, but the price value greatly decreases, that's why it's important to have optimisation in the initial plan.
